Poetry - A Friend Within
From a group of five, I moved to a place which was not mine. At that place I was left alone, With the people which were not known. Day by day I struggled to make friends, But unfortunately I could not follow their trends. Days passed and months too, But I didn't find the one which was true. Everyday a battle was fought in my mind, About who was ugly and who was fine. Everyday I struggled, whom to trust and whom to not, Afterall I was betrayed by a lot. Struggling and struggling I found a true friend, Who promised me to not leave me till this world end. That friend of mine was my inner self, Who hold my hand whenever I needed a friend.
